What an honor! I’ve been named a finalist in the Freelance Excellence category of the Women in Content Marketing Awards. I’ve spent most of my career as a freelancer (AKA independent writer, AKA solopreneur, AKA small business owner), and I’m a firm believer that you can do great things as an independent. I take pride in my professionalism and strive for excellence in my writing and the way I interact with clients and colleagues. My nomination for the award featured my work with non-profits, associations, healthcare organizations, and government agencies to hone their messages and promote their work to increase access to quality care for underrepresented and underserved populations.
